
Commemorative plaque
October 12, 2003, unveiling of the plaque commemorating the arrival in Montreal of the Great Recruit of 1653.
Place de la Dauversière, Old Montreal.
Under magnificent sunshine, we reach Place Dauversière on foot, in front of the Town Hall and Château Ramezay, where the plaque commemorating the arrival of the Great Recruit will be unveiled.
On this plaque appear the names of all the arrivals including Catherine Lorion, Pierre Désautels, Nicolas Millet.
After the required speeches, a guest book is available to the descendants of the Great Recruit.
Marie-Thérèse, Antonio, then Nathalie will write a few words there.
